Terms of Service
Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Entrix website and platform operated by Entrix ("we", "us"). Entrix connects event organizers with attendees across Nigeria.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Entrix, or have the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Using Entrix
Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Prohibited Conduct
- Using the platform for any illegal purpose
- Buying tickets using stolen or unauthorized payment methods
- Creating fake events or misrepresenting event details
- Using bots or automated systems to purchase tickets
- Attempting to circumvent or hack the platform
- Harassing other users or organizers
Violations may result in account suspension and legal action.
Tickets & Payments
Purchasing a ticket creates a binding agreement between you and the event organizer. Entrix facilitates the transaction; it does not own or operate the events listed on the platform.
All payments are processed securely via Paystack. Prices shown include all applicable fees. Your tickets are delivered electronically and include a unique QR code for entry.
Platform fee: Entrix charges a 5% fee on paid ticket sales. For free events, there is no charge. The organizer chooses whether this fee is absorbed by them or passed to the buyer — this is shown clearly before purchase.
Refunds & Cancellations
If an event is cancelled by the organizer, you are entitled to a full refund including any service fees. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
For rescheduled events, your ticket remains valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, refund eligibility depends on the organizer's stated policy.
For buyer-requested cancellations, the organizer's refund policy applies. This is displayed on each event's page before purchase.
Event Organizers
By listing an event on Entrix, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete event information
- Honour all ticket sales and commitments to attendees
- Comply with all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations
- Obtain any necessary permits, licences or insurance
- Notify attendees promptly of any event changes or cancellations
- Process any required refunds in accordance with your stated policy
Organizer payouts are processed after the event concludes, minus the applicable 5% platform fee and any refunds or chargebacks.
Limitation of Liability
Entrix is a marketplace. We are not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of events listed on the platform, for the accuracy of information provided by organizers, or for any incidents occurring at events.
The platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to Entrix in the preceding 12 months.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Entrix after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
